i have no idea of how to chock that. i do have fast application manager and i dont see the package among the other libqt packages. i guess im not ment to install the cssu..

im trying to install the ssu but i have a problem with libqt4-test.
i tried apt-get install libqt4-test in root but it didnt work.
i have uninstalled tons of apps.
i have tons of space in roots,...

Yeah, i have both Swappolube and Transition Control installed and they do make a difference. But they worked just as well without oc.

I would have to say that if anyone whants the "iphone"...

Okey, so i finally overclocked with titans from appmanager. Rebooted and checked that it was installed.

I used QCPUFreq to enable overclocking and push it up to 850.
I didnt touch any other...

For me the menus are easy to press as thay are now, but perhaps you want to add more features or maybe do hildonizing for practice which of cource is totally fine. It's your project, so you should do...

Hey! Great stuff. It's not usable for me at the moment. Would be great to have this working smooth in the future. See points below.
My n900 is not OC, its pr 1.3. No widgets or anything...

SOLVED

I downloaded leafpad and pasted the text in that and saved it. It now works flawless! thank you all so much!
Now i only need to change the icon to a custom one. Do you know in what folder...

i just used notepad on my pc. saved as utf 8. changed .txt to .desktop. then moved it to my phone. i have no idea on how to create it any other way.

You were spot on. I forgott the ' at the end.
Now it does open the pic from xterm.

But the problem of the actual .desktop shortcut still exist.
It does not show up in the list of desktop...

I tried another image and that one actually worked with desktop command widget.

But as far as shortcuts go, i still can't find any.

Sure,

The file is named img.desktop (no other fileextension like txt or anything)

Path and pic is correct and exists

[Desktop Entry]
Encoding=UTF-8

I have rootsh.
When using root i got:
usage: chmod [-R] MODE[,MODE]... FILE...

when i type only openfile i still get permission denied. Still on square one i am afraid

Yes, I did put it in the right place.
When testing what you just wrote i get
sh: openfile: Permission denied
and with chmod i get operation not permitted.

I am lost when it comes to terminal...

I put your open desktop file in that location and made .desktop file with notepad utf-8 naming it img.desktop (and removed the .txt...
