Your font looks different to what is printed on my two n900s as well, it is a slight difference though but more noticeably there is very little spacing on mine. On my n900s there is almost no space between the F&i of Finland and yours appears to be double spaced with "Designed__in__Finland"

Pre-production revisions of the N900, prototypes and development devices, were intentionally marked with "N00" in place of "N900". They did not suffer "Dexigned" misspellings.

Very early prototype N900s had strange, lumpy cases that looked strikingly different from the retail design. You would not confuse them with a normal N900, and they still did not have "Dexigned" printed on them.

Your N900 has at least some non-Nokia parts.

Made in Finland, interesting.
It's likely a 18xx (Maemo Summit) device.

Run "cat /proc/cpuinfo" in X-Terminal to confirm.

Regarding "Dexinded in Finland" - it probably has an aftermarket digitizer and slide back.

I read somewhere (likely in a thread on this site) that there was some operation buying old/used N900s and putting new/cheap cases from China on 'em and pushing them as "new". I'm betting that's precisely what this is... how is the case build quality and strength? (I've been considering getting a second N900 since I can't find anything on the market that compares to this marvel).

Poke around in the OS... is it a clean/fresh flash or was someone else's data on it still? (was the tutorial video still on the home screen?)

I'm very curious about the contents of /proc/cpuinfo (as Hurrian suggested).... what is it?

Why do you always buy 3 of everything?

Nobody claimed that IMEI is fake, but you can test it's validity: http://tablets-dev.nokia.com/nokia_N900.php

And while you are in, why not to test flashing? If you can flash official firmware I would say it is N900.

Dexigned? I've seen quite a few N900's, never seen that. Not even on the dev ones.

Cool! You have one in a million.
