So startups should not use the services they pay as part of their office rental payments?

No, startups rent offices with cheaper rates and without such services.
That is not just a facetious remark, I have worked at a number of such startups. We did our own cleaning.

In the interest of fairness, the startups I was talking about employed 4, 5... maximum 15 people. Not 140.

Or they're collecting a few more completed orders so they have enough to make the small next batch they're planning. I think there are some people who've paid their taxes but not received a tablet yet, aren't there?

I'd certainly think twice about completing my order at the moment, money for taxes could get swallowed too.

Not that I've got anything to worry about being number 8000 odd
