The Compusa prices is $350 with no current rebates:

I think the $225 is probably for a used model. They are selling for that price on Ebay and Craigslist.

...everyone forget what I said in the previous (long) post about the N800 volume. I forgot the volume control in the toolbar at the top right area of the main display is independent from the volume control in the audio and video players. Duh! The N800 volume (2 speakers **claimed stereo by Nokia**) is BY FAR MUCH LOUDER than the single speaker on the N770.

It is stereo-- it's just that a few inches isn't enough separation to get the full effect.

I'm not sure of the OPs source - could be eBay for all I know - but he's saying he can get it for $225 when the N800 is retailing for $400.
