I'm on prepaid and would like to know if I can use the GPS without a data plan? If I'm able to, how to use the GPS? I tried tapping on the map it asked me to select connection (internet connection). I'm using t-mobile usa.

These threads has a lot of info for you, http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php...868#post479868, especially thread #51, as well as http://talk.maemo.org/showthread.php?t=38405. In return, I want your experience with T-mobile, I also bought the prepaid and I have NOT activate it yet, as I have NO clue how to do make to connect to internet. I know geeks use something called ... proxy? TIA,

I have home wifi. That is the reason I am not jumping into t-mo yet. I need t-mo when travelling, still very foggy about what to do to get online with t-mo proxy. Need your expertise.
