BTW: I would like to thank Texrat for allowing me (so far) to continue a thread on PR1.2 that doesn't have Chuck Norris cooties all over it.

If I had to guess, more work on the browser as I've heard it's still not up to par and probably was one of the major pieces still being worked on when that leaked version was made.

Now some or all of these would make Nokia win back everyone here and some.

- Voice guidance with ovi maps and OwnVoice support.
- Vertical orientation support for desktop/launcher/media player/ham.
- HD video recording and or playback. (or just non-chppy wvga recording)
- Fully working ovi store with proper paid apps and games
- Native mms support instead of separate app.

Thanks, Laughingstock, I didn't read all the info on the leaked version and didn't realize that the browser was a weak spot. It is such a strong part of what we have now!

I guess the bug corrections could be checked using bugs.maemo.org for those with lots of patient to check every bug marked as "FIXED on PR1.2" and compiling the difference between the leaked version date and now, but enhancements (if there were any...) it is unpredictable.

I think just a released PR1.2 would make everyone a lot happier, judging from the advance reports.

I think mms support was ruled out by qgil some time ago, but maybe he didn't mean it as strongly as I read it.

Of course, fully working ovi store, but that doesn't have anything to do with the N900 and everything to do with Nokia site developers, it seems to me. It just has to do with COMMON SENSE, Nokia! I mean, you wanna sell stuff, you gotta have the store working, duh. I guess it's harder than it seems.

Yeah. Can't believe angry birds level pack is still not available since it appeared months and months back. Where's all the commercial stuff? Other than Sygic, nearly nothing exists. Obviously Nokia didn't care much about 3rd party support for this device and didn't expect any until Qt 4.6 was included. I really do hope Qt 4.6 support is the holy grail for the N900.

Well, they said the same thing about overclocking. Guess they have to say something at least and 'damage' is a scary word.
