There is no way to escape the dept. Any country around the world who borrowed money from bankers are now their slaves. If someone didn't there is a war going on now...

Wasn't there one case where one employee lost a iphone prototype at foxconn and he was under scrutiny by management. He then killed himself.

Well, the factory workers aren't under Apple's management. Apple even have certain clauses in their contract with their subcontractors to guarantee certain living and working standards for the workers in their operations.

If you want something to hate and ridicule Apple with, look into the class action lawsuit by their apple genius bar staffers.

exactly. no credit to usa = no demand for products they are making.

give credit -> sell hella lot of stuff and gain money -> give more credit -> sell even more stuff -> etc.

thanks to the most competitive labour prices western countries have priced themselves out by lightyears.

am I the only one who sees the glorious first steps of communism when you open the link?

modern consumption oriented economy does exactly what it is supposed to: get as much resources as possible with lowest amount of work required. and every single persons has their responsibility, though not so many behave the way they are preaching. "meat production must be sustained at my home country at any cost ! ...but that brasilian meat is so cheap!!!! I can save a lot by buying it"

the system will eventually evolve but that is what it is all about. at least I rather sit in front of computer and do something productive that I can buy 10kg meat per 8 hours of work instead of working 10 weeks in the field by hand for the same amount.

and what do you grown ups who have right to vote are groaning? just do it! "but I am only one man, no use trying. so I'll just hang out in internets and complain"

[QUOTE=pasih;682128]Nokia also uses Foxconn.[/QUI dont think companies should be able to do that. i think if nokia or foxconn or who ever treats these wrkers like this then the price point for that device should be rediculously low. that way i can buy my nokia products from these other countries and use them in the usa. Just like they make them dirt cheap in other countries and sell them high here

U didn't spend to much time there, didn't you .

I agree with you, first impression is like that, but if you start digging deeper there is even comparison to the communism. Is nothing to do with any system humankind know. Is more UTOPIA like but it seems to me more rational to compare to what modern systems generates. I am following this movement from 3 years with big skepticism. But I wish to have this option just in case if the world goes even more wild and crazy

modern consumption oriented economy does exactly what it is supposed to: get as much resources as possible with lowest amount of work required.
Let me correct your sentence:

modern consumption oriented economy does exactly what it is supposed to: waste as much resources as possible with lowest amount of cost required.
