Ya sms comes without our involvement...but symbian has an app for even that.....

maemo being more open sourced can easily develope an app that can lock the the converstaion App so that even the incoming sms's contents are hidden

what u said is also a good enhancement

But whenever u are sending a secret sms to some1 the sms will still there be in the converstions until u delete it..

But it will be gr8 if that sms is encrypted after its being send so that no one can read what the content is(except the user who has the PIN to decrypt)...

To be more simple locking the whole converstaion App would do everythng right?no one can see the incoming sms's and the ones which u have send....

The option of encrypting all or just chosen ones right upon receiving and sending (without this yellow flying notice even)

There are config settings for the notifications.
(for example, used icons, which application handles the message, ledpattern ..)

In the sms-group ([sms-message]) add another entry:
Secondary-Text="SMS"

And the text "SMS" will be shown in the notification window
(both, the little flying window when the message arrives and
other the yellow window).

I've e-mailed Melonmobile and they have no plans of porting or converting their current apps to Maemo 5. Partially because they only have a catalog of apps which are shared by other users and some other companies. But they have within their "to-do" list to create some apps for Maemo 5 but didn't say what type of apps to expect. So fingers crossed. The guy told me to wait till next week. But you how these company people are.....they don't necessarily stick to their time frame. I'll e-mail him later next week to see if there has been any progress.

it'll be awesome if they can create this app 4 n900 since none of the developers in the community is willing to make it

just wondering what the update is on this as i think i posted for this to be made like the beginning of the year before i got my n900 hopeing a app like this would be ready. lol
