Why does it matter? Its still for me the best device I could have of anything currently on the market, and whether they stop selling N900 or not, until they bring out N900 Ghia, I'm happy with what I've got.

I am amazed with the response so far on this thread. Fact remains that the website is not offering any N900 at present.

Fact remains that a tablet with 3.5'' screen is a joke, 5'' would be perfect and phone that has features to match with my first ever nokia bought 10 years ago (I am a die hard Nokia fan, always had Nokia) , this lacks basic features that are standard now on any basic phone.

I agree Symbion is no way near MAEMO or MEEGO or whatever Linux based OS comes to market but maps with voice are awsome as an example on Symbion phone that I had before n900.

Also, I am not American nor a hate n900. Just thought if n900 was end of life from Nokia.

Obviously, not with the response I have seen so far.

Is there a way to close this thread?

You could've used the search engine(s) on this site, or Google, to find out that this type of "undertakers-threads" have been posted over and over and over. Boring, boring, boring.

You could've taken the time to write a proper thread title, just as you could've taken the time to write a decent post. None of that happened, apparently you did not get the responses you wanted, and now you are asking for a mod to close down the thread? Would his majesty like a ribbon around it as well? And a foot massage? And you are talking about jokes?

well my reckoning is that nokia n900 is the best at the moment when it comes to a mobile computer cum smartphone,agreed with the drawbacks lke most apps dnt have potrait mode etc but picture this;
-only mobile with ability to multiboot maemo, android froyo :n900
-only mobile in hich i can change cpu clockrate btwn 600 to 1150 mhz seamlessly
-only mobile to give full web access and runs my fav chrome browser with cool extensions
-only mobile to run a desktop linux ie easy debian like a virtual machine with maemo
- only mobile that...puts my intel core i5 proce laptop to shame sometimes with it running abt 60 apps multitasking ie 30 apps + 30 widget apps in 4 desktops with all desktops running different live wallpapers...need i say more...

cheers

easy people
the N900 is beyond what words can describe
it allows you to do whatever you want
and we all agree to that

and lets leave it to that

if nokia stops producing the N900 then its their lost and we are the lucky basterds who got to use this wonderful piece of heaven if i may say :P
