Did you reboot after installing the new camera-ui? It seems to be working on 3 devices for me.
Thanks for the info MAG. Appreciate you taking the time to keep us in the loop at what must be a crazy time (Don't worry I have been there done that in software releases. Something always goes wrong despite all the prep). Looks like its a problem with the sdcard/internal storage save point for the camera (see above). I will wait for the next update and try that.

i am not sure if some one pointed this out already but the new modest update has an issue with the new message. on clicking "new message" in portrait mode the send button gets hidden to the extreme right. it does not appear back unless the phone is turned back to landscape mode.

or am i the only one with this problem?

other than this, i am super excited with this update and would try pointing out as many issues as i can to help make the N900 the best phone we could get!

besides the rootfs space issue, I don't see anything acting weirdly atm.
CameraUI is nice and fast. didn't find any issue there, yet.
love the 'no-landscape-rotate-thingy"

Hmm.. I tried enabling the tree mode in Modest but it caused the Modest to crash and an 'internal error' loop after that. Had to resort to terminal trickery.
