The image quality should be the same, because both
apps use the same camera-api.
I thought no one would miss this.

Since I've installed cssu yesterday, spb english cards don't show images anymore. I tried to reinstall but without positive effect. Am I the only one with that issue? Is there a solution ?
Anyway, I'll keep cssu because I like the new Camera UI and many other things. Especially the zoom functionality. It' s a great thing with java programs for example, because the characters are generally very very tiny. May I suggest to facilitate this zoom access. the combinations keys (CTRL + SHIFT + s or f) is very difficult for me (big fingers). If there is a way to combine this zoom functionality with the proximity sensor it will be an extraordinary amelioration.
Thanks to all the participants.

OK, I will give it a good test whilst I am on hols for the next couple of days and test the photo quality & new UI etc.
As far as camera sounds go it would be good to have the option so that the end users can make their own choice?
