Even if you could buy them, and even if you were intimately familiar with working with omap3 and linux gstreamer multimedia, you'd probably spend a few days coding and programming to hook them up to the rest of the system. If you were an expert, that is. It's not a plug and play drag and drop end-user installable component.

We can get the codecs from another maemo phone? or it's uncompatible? ( not like pc's )

the latest version meego 1.2 developer edition or 1.3 develope , today 19 may.
Tried and nothing photos horrible , very bad.
