Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
love the zealots and their '...the n8x0 is not intended...' BS line. By that logic neither is a PC so the should not be the central hub in a PIM solution.

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
Just my $0.02, keep your palm or put up with hassles with the various kluges that run on the n800.
Personally, with the lack of wifi (and ludicrously expensive cell phone data acess)around here...

Re: Looking for a good case for the N800
I purchased the Prima leather flip case for my N800 from Dell and this is the link to their website: I love it and it's the best one for the price so far in the market. I recommend it highly if you...

OS2008: a step back from OS2007
I've got my N800 for over half a year now and I must tell I have been extremely satisfied with it - until I updated to OS2008. Here's why:
The Internet browser is more sluggish than in the...

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
Yes.
1) It's not stable.
2) Sync does not work. It gets about halfway through and then disconnects. I gave up after a dozen tries over several days to get a hotsync to complete successfully. It...

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
Although the lack of proper PIM functionality on Maemo is a bit ridiculous there is some hope on the horizon - KDE4 is cross platform, which might mean we see tablet optimized versions of the...

Re: Lousy experience on Nokia N800
Despite the claims to Wh.I.N.E. (whine is not effective) I see something else in here. The true underlying point, is I believe, that the n800/n810 are not garage products. Clem and his second...

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
Of course you're welcome! Thoughtful, objective, well-reasoned criticism is great. It's the rambling, ranting "oh-make-sure-to-look-at-me" complaints that old-timers have little patience with. ;)

Re: Palm user: is it time to move to the Nxxx?
My history with PDAs began with the HP100LX, and in a lot of ways it's been downhill ever since. Even though the 100LX was just a pocketable XT clone, it was designed from the bottom up for the user...
