since the last system update station names will show via RDS if you have RDS scrolling enabled on the receiver.
only trouble is, it seems to scroll once, to the end of the name, and then doesn't...

I always had shares automatically available in the file manager with my n800 and n810 by using the avahi services (also makes bluetooth devices automagially browsable)
I installed avahi in the n900...
