I Couldn't agree more. I ripped some of my CDs to flac, installed extra decoders, and I am using my N900 in my car with the car sound system, it's better then the pioneer built in CD.

BTW,...

Re: Firefox 1.0.1 is out

No. If you perceive an improvement in MicoB it's just a placebo effect. Both are Mozilla-based but MicroB is based on Firefox 3.5's engine while Firefox Mobile is based on Firefox 3.6's engine. ...

Re: The CEO of Nokia might be getting fired! LG's GW990 not coming out either!?

What do you mean will Nokia lag behind? Nokia IS lagging behind and if you look through the window to you right you can see the scenery going forward.

Nokia used to be synonymous to quality,...

Re: More proof that Nokia is actually making some progress

Amen. Symbian and Maemo are very different animals, coming from different paradigms, and now addressing different needs. They have strengths and weaknesses, and according to those, users will choose...

Re: “Everyone else has caught up and Nokia has been left behind,”

I don't think that was due to 'stereo' configuration. More like it's because they put higher quality driver that can drive more power and has better range and/or also acoustic design within the...

Re: Apple invents s60-style task switcher

11:40AM Q: How do you close applications when multitasking? A: (Scott) You don't have to. The user just uses things and doesn't ever have to worry about it. (Steve) It's like we said on the iPad, if...

I don't think there are enough threads like these.

I've had my N900 for about a month now, and would just like to say it is the best phone I've had.

It's nearly replaced my netbook for Skype...

Re: Why is the Apple UI so fluid and ours isn't?

Re: Why is N900 so slow?

It's not in the context and the tone of how many people come here just to complain about the **** they've got without even realizing it's probably only a temporary fault that's easily fixed.

Re: Nokia needs to change something ... competition is too fast

Er, no thanks.

There are a lot of people on the forums who seem to hate the Nokia N900, and I'm really not sure why. It's not that I'm "a fanboy", it's that I really like the phone.

I owned...

Re: N900 PR1.1 - Report problems here !!!

It depends on what you use.

For me everytinhg is working smoother. Have to restart couple of times after update and select default theme. After that this feels faster and smoother to operate.

Re: N900 PR1.1 - Report problems here !!!

The only thing that you would missed is the MS exchange. Other wise nothing else is benefiting you at all other than Portrait Web browser capable. But still need to use Lanscape VK.

Re: N900 battery life questions, issues, scenarios

I was so sure that the battery drain problem was wifi related. But now it happened again and wifi was definitely not the cause. Seems that I have (again) encountered pure crap made by Nokia. I think...

Re: The N900 Strategy and Why the iPhone is So Hard to Beat

Yes, exactly, Apple has run away with the most coveted customers, those who have the most money. It is only a tiny fraction of Nokia's most high end phones that cost anywhere close to $600. Every...
