I saw that version 2.0 will move to a database rather than filesystem for storing the maps. I don't suppose there are any compiled 2.0 beta versions around with this functionality ?

understand that the OS2007 will not be ported. I find this quite bizarre, surely the hardware specific elements can be accounted for and disabled as needed..?

I also will not be upgrading.
I use the 770 for reading (fbreader and evince) primarily and occasional web browsing. The device is highly unstable for production software, the browser crashes...

wget issues
Hey,
Not sure if this is a wget problem or not. I tried to download a 170mb file from a local webserver on my lan. It works fine for the first 20mb or so, but then it stalls and after a few minutes...

I haven't been able to open the PDFs I want to access on my Nokia, it pops up an out of memory error. I have 50 or so mb of swap enabled and the PDF is only around 1mb in size. I've seen others...
