Some people would believe everything the sales at some large outlets like Broadway said. They just want to sell you the latest models and of course they'd try everything to discourage you from buying anything older than a month. Check the largest Wilson(衛訊) at 西洋菜街, Mongkok, ask 四眼仔, he'll take order for you if you want one. Sometime they keep stocks, because N900 is still very wanted by people from mainland China, where N900 has not yet been released officially.

To the question whether you should buy or wait, you must not have visited Golden (黄金商場) for quite some time. Come on guy, there IS 10" Meego tablet for sale there. Check it out (mc jin).

Man are you really a Hong Konger?
reading about your post made me miss Hong Kong =D

you could also give 先達廣場 in Mongkok a shot aswell

Bah. I thought you'd have something interesting... like $10 bucks and an ode to Nokia or something.

Or perhaps trim the Nokia logo into a beard.

That's where I said you could get a N900 in US380, actually it's only about US250 for a second-hand.

My opinion -- if you only use the n900 as a phone, there's really no reason to get a second one. Odds are, you'll be able to find new phones with similar (or better) attributes whenever you really need a new one. (Why would anyone need to keep two cell phones around at the same time?)

If, however, you use the n900 as an ultra-micro-computer, I'd go for getting a second one while you can. Every other device in this form factor is a closed box that only offers tiny pretty popcorn-sized apps; the n900 is the only thing that can run real, full-blown desktop application software. There's no guarantee that we'll ever see its like again...

Oh no...anywhere but 先達廣場. Lots of thieves there are waiting for your coming. They've built a sustainable eco-system there once your belongings are being stolen, they're quickly transferred to the shops there such that you can find it back within 3-minutes for your reclaiming, with some handling charge of course.
