I'm trying to use the git repo form garage.maemo.
Clone worked just fine, but now that I have some local commits and try to push:

Getting terminal output from scratchbox
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out - how can I get the terminal output from an app, if I run it inside of scratchbox...
The xterm package cannot be installed inside the emulator and I can't find a way to...

Re: To all developers who want to get paid
Ok - I see what you mean now and I see why I completely ignored those solutions. There are two ways of buying apps really: a complete app store with reviews, integrated interface, etc. which is...

Re: To all developers who want to get paid
fms, as far as I know, none of them provides a Maemo-compatible app shop. Unless I missed something? The way I see it, the only shop providing maemo apps is Ovi.
The problem I'd like to solve is...

Re: To all developers who want to get paid
Thanks for the feedback!
I'm also worried about the amount of people willing to buy stuff right now... but on the other hand, I see a lot of people complaining that there is no stuff to buy (which...

Re: Business concept for Nokia
Actually 'p' is used to choose an extension after allowing some time to get the call picked up by the PBX. What I meant before is that if skype exposed nice callback system, you could treat the first...

Re: Business concept for Nokia
This is a fairly big change if the transport doesn't support it by default. The number after "p" is not used by the routing code, but has to be sent as tones later on. This makes the behaviour...

Re: Off-Topic: Favorite/Recommended Anime
The titles I 100% approve:
- Cowboy Bebop (you know there's both a series and a movie, right? (and 5 cds of soundtrack and 2 cds of seatbelts & Yoko live))
- Serial experiments lain
- 5cm per...

Re: no PR 1.2 = cant test own apps on N900 ?
You can use scratchbox. Not sure how much helpful MADDE is when it comes to packaging stuff... but doing it by hand if you havfe problems at this stage, would be an *interesting* experience.

Re: Why aren't there any Twitter widgets?
Did you mean makau (or mauku?) It works. After the startup, it will start showing the messages you'd normally see on the website, until it gets to the current ones. Then you'll get the normal updates.

Re: no PR 1.2 = cant test own apps on N900 ?
Not sure what's the qt situation now - there's probably some way to compile the app against old version (or at least require the old version in the package dependencies).
You don't have to sign...

Re: See message sender's number in Concersations??
In PR1.2 (and in the leaked version too) you can see the number. When you tap the sender's icon to get the addressbook card, one number will be highlighted - that's the one from which the message was...

Going too far with the merging?
Hi,
As happy as I am with merging together "omg it breaks things" topics about leaked firmware and previous link-censoring actions, I think it's getting out of hand now.
I asked in a separate topic...

I've noticed that the skype video call appears on some contacts, but not the others in the leaked version.
I know that the icon appears (if it does at all) after I make the first voice call to...

Re: Is PR1.2 RC disappointing?
Not at all! I'm happy to run it.
I just hope that rearranging the icons in the app menu works better in the final version. Right now, it's a usability nightmare - you have to click on an icon X and...

Re: A couple of questions :)
1. Scroll down - that's a feature in 1.2. (you can rearrange the items by pressing for a long time)
2. Regression. Hopefully fixed in the real 1.2.
